The total number of commercial registrations in Saudi Arabia increased to 1.33 million in the third quarter of 2023, with 38.6% of those registrations being issued to young men and Saudi women. This represents a 16% increase from the same quarter in 2022.

The Ministry of Commerce's quarterly bulletin for the business sector noted a robust surge in commercial registration in various promising sectors in the third quarter of 2023.

  • Telecare and Telemedical centers registrations increased by 33%, exceeding 757,000.
  • E-commerce registrations increased by 12%, with over 363,000 commercial registrations.
  • Financial technology solutions sector registrations increased by 21%, with more than 28,000 commercial registrations.
