Saudi Arabia has prohibited expatriates from hiring domestic workers of their own nationalities.
The Musaned platform for domestic labor services, which is run by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD), states that expatriates cannot apply for a visa to hire domestic workers, who share the same nationality.
In response to a question, Musaned stated this while using its own X platform. According to the website, the expat is able to hire housekeepers from another country. It was suggested that expats should review the recruitment process and financial resources to acquire visas via the link: https://musaned. com.
The fact that an expatriate employee is eligible for a recruitment visa with the minimum salary being SR10000 is worth of worrying, as evidenced by submitting if financial capability in sr100000 bank document. If a second visa is granted, the minimum salary for SR2000/1000 per annum must be CS$200,000 and proof of financial capability by submitting CRB200000 on – namely - RS6000.
Expatriates and others must provide a certificate of financial capability through GOSI, which is required to verify their monthly wage statement within 60 days from the time they submitted their visa application.
The Musaned platform is the ministry's official website for household services and home employment programs, offering a range of services to enhance and facilitate the recruitment process. The scheme monitors and improves the domestic worker's sector.
