Energy minister: Saudi Arabia to establish 60 logistics zones by 2030

According to Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, the Kingdom aims to establish 60 zones of logistics by 2030. At the 3rd Belt and Road Initiative Summit in Beijing, the minister highlighted that there are significant gaps between the Belt to Road initiative and the Saudi Vision 2030.

According to Prince Abdulaziz, the coronavirus outbreak has brought about changes in the global economy, supply and value chains, and the importance of complementary work between nations. According to him, China and Saudi Arabia have demonstrated the safety, effectiveness, and feasibility of their orientations through the Belt and Road Initiative and in particular Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance economic interconnection.

The minister stated that the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between Saudi Arabia and China was concluded in 2022. The two countries signed a plan of cooperation and interconnection to enhance cooperation, linking Saudi Vision 2030 with the Belt and Road Initiative across all domains.

At the Belt and Road Initiative Summit in October, more than 130 countries were present, with Russian President Vladimir Putin athe guest of honor. 17 and 18
